Clara Mushi Foundation is a registered Tanzanian NGO based in Arusha. We exist so that no child in Tanzania faces illness, orphanhood or isolation without care, education and hope.Clara Mushi Foundation ni Shirika Lisilo la Kiserikali lililosajiliwa Tanzania, lenye makao yake Arusha. Our founder, Clara Cletus Mushi, was born with HIV in Arusha. She lost her parents and siblings to the virus and is the only surviving member of her family.Mwanzilishi wetu, Clara Cletus Mushi, alizaliwa na VVU mjini Arusha. Aliwapoteza wazazi na ndugu zake kwa sababu ya virusi hivyo, na ndiye pekee aliyebaki hai katika familia yake.
For years Clara gave her own time to children in orphanages and to families who came to her by word of mouth. The Foundation was created so that this care could grow beyond one person, with a proper team, clear standards and the trust of the community.Kwa miaka mingi Clara alitoa muda wake kwa watoto katika vituo vya kulelea yatima na kwa familia zilizomfikia kwa kusikia kutoka kwa wengine. Taasisi ilianzishwa ili huduma hii ikue zaidi ya mtu mmoja, ikiwa na timu imara, viwango vilivyo wazi na imani ya jamii.

Our Child Protection and Safeguarding Policy is grounded in Tanzania’s Law of the Child Act (Cap. 13). Before anyone works with children through the Foundation:Sera yetu ya Ulinzi wa Mtoto imejengwa juu ya Sheria ya Mtoto ya Tanzania (Sura ya 13). Kabla mtu yeyote hajafanya kazi na watoto kupitia Taasisi:
- they complete a safeguarding self-declaration and provide referencesanajaza tamko binafsi la ulinzi wa mtoto na kuleta wadhamini
